Jackie Walton
Attended Bradford Art School and gained a Dip. AD followed by a Further Education Teacher’s Certificate.
In 1987, after working for seven years as a technician in the College Ceramics Department, she set up her own workshop. Most of her pots are made with earthenware clay, using a variety of building techniques that are wheel thrown, press moulded and coiled. She particularly enjoys working on large forms which allow her to be more creative with the surface decoration.
